December 10, 2026 - Day 2: MONTREAL CULINARY INFLUENCES
Explore Montréal during a sightseeing tour with a Local Guide including the incredible Basilique Notre Dame. Enjoy lunch at a traditional Montréal deli. Discover the beautiful holiday displays and festive markets this afternoon. Join your Tour Director to visit Grand Marché de Noël de Montréal (Great Christmas Market), and Montréal Christmas Village.

Bid adieu to Montréal for charming Québec City and a 3-night stay in the legendary landmark, Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. Discover one of the most historic and best preserved cities in North America. The afternoon is free to explore the holiday markets or stroll the streets of Old Québec City.

Visit a locally owned Sugar Shack for a traditional sugar shack lunch including live musical entertainment. Continue to Montmorency Falls Park for stunning views of a natural waterfall, the tallest in Québec and 30 m taller than Niagara Falls (weather permitting). The afternoon is free to explore the holiday markets for Christmas cheer and European-style outdoor market shopping.

LOCAL FAVORITE - LOCAL TASTES: Collecting maple water to create maple syrup is a longtime tradition across generations when families trudged through the snow to tap the nearby trees in preparation for rich and hearty recipes. Explore Canada’s only walled city with a Local Guide this morning on a sightseeing tour. Until the British victory of 1759, Old Québec was the center of New France. Within its walls are Place d’Armes, Laval Seminary, and ancient Place Royale. Also, ride the funicular and see the old-world houses crowding the narrow streets in Lower Town by the St. Lawrence River and historic Plains of Abraham. Join your Tour Director and discover unique treasures and German-inspired cuisine at The Marché de Noël Allemand de Québec (German Christmas Market) filled with wooden kiosks and live musical entertainment, Enjoy free time this afternoon before a farewell dinner at our hotel, Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac, the perfect ending to your vacation!
