This touching tour of Normandy is ideal for history buffs and World War II aficionados eager to personally explore the sacred sites of Operation Overlord, the codename for the D-Day landings on June 6, 1944. On this stirring tour, you’ll see where more than 150,000 mostly American, British, and Canadian troops stormed 50 miles of fiercely defended coastline, securing an Allied victory, and gaining a foothold in the fight against Nazi Germany. Your expert Tour Director will lead you to the many significant sites of that fateful day, including the cliffs scaled by troops at Pointe du Hoc as well as the assault shores of Utah, Juno, and Omaha Beach. You’ll have time to explore the moving memorials and museums of each site, including the emotive American Military Cemetery and Memorial. Start and end this incredible journey in magnificent Paris.

September 14, 2027: Depart from Boston on your overnight flight to Paris!

September 15, 2027 (Pre-tour Day #1): Arrival into Paris - Transfer with the group to your Paris hotel (included) for a free day and night with your fellow Holiday Travelers! (not included on tour map - hotel check in on arrival)

September 16, 2027 (Pre-tour Day #2): Explore Paris in depth - Another free day and night in the City of Lights!

September 17, 2027 - Tour Day 1: Paris
Meet your Tour Director and fellow travelers at 5 pm for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant — the perfect beginning to this powerful journey through history. Included Meals: D

September 18, 2027 - Tour Day 2: Paris–Caen–Arromanches-les-Bains–Caen
Bid au revoir to Paris and travel into Normandy for a moving day of remembrance and discovery. In Caen, visit the Memorial Museum for Peace before continuing to Arromanches-les-Bains, where you’ll experience archival images in the 360 circular cinema and see the remnants of Mulberry Harbour, a remarkable Allied engineering achievement. You’ll also visit the German artillery bunkers at Longues-sur-Mer before returning to Caen for an evening at leisure. Included Meals: B

September 19, 2027 - Tour Day 3: Caen. Excursion to the Landing Beaches
Spend an unforgettable day exploring the sacred sites of D-Day. Visit Utah Beach with time to see the Memorial and Museum, then continue to Sainte-Mère-Église for a visit to the Airborne Museum, honoring the courage of the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions. Stop for photos at Pointe du Hoc, where U.S. Army Rangers scaled the cliffs under fire, before continuing to Omaha Beach, where you’ll have time to visit the beach, the American Military Cemetery, and the Memorial. September 20, 2027 - Tour Day 4: Caen–Bény-sur-Mer–Landing Beaches–Ranville–Paris
Depart Caen for another powerful day along the Normandy coast. Visit the Canadian Cemetery at Bény-sur-Mer, then continue to the Juno Beach Memorial Museum and park, with time to walk along the beach. Stop in Bernières-sur-Mer for photos of Canada House, believed to be the first house liberated by Canadian troops on D-Day. Later, visit the Memorial Pegasus Museum in Ranville and see the famous bridge associated with one of the dramatic events depicted in The Longest Day. Return to Paris this evening and enjoy free time in the City of Light. Included Meals: B

September 21, 2027 - Tour Day 5: Paris
Your moving WWII Landing Beaches & Battle of Normandy journey concludes with breakfast this morning. Depart Paris with lasting memories of the heroes, sacrifices, and historic places that shaped the course of World War II. Paris to airport transfers for the group included. Included Meals: B
